You wouldn’t believe it,

You couldn’t conceive it,

But someone just tweeted

The meaning of life!

So I’m out on the street,

And I scream and I yell,

‘Up there is heaven!

‘Down there is hell!

‘I know why we live!

‘I know why we die!

‘I’ve just had the call!

‘I know the whole story.

‘The tweet said it all!’

Some whistled and cheered.

Some sniggered and jeered.

Some stood there and stared,

And some acted scared.

Then one man cried ‘Cheat!

‘You’re infected with Tweet!

‘I’ll have you reported

‘If you don’t get it sorted!’

So I go to my doctor,

Who gives it me straight.

Says he’s terribly sorry,

But I’ve left it too late.

How he wished people knew

The harm tweeting can do.

For a tweet, once it’s caught,

Paralyses all thought.

I can never be treated.

I’m incurably tweeted.
